A band in Uzbekistan sang a popular Bollywood song at the end of the two -day Foreign Minister in Tashkent, a video distributed today by the Foreign Minister shown by Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.
“Another reminder of Sco Tashkent why Central Asia is our vast environment,” Mr. Jaisankar wrote on Twitter.
This video shows a big band singing the title of the song ‘Bol Radha Bol’ from the famous 1992 Bollywood film ‘Sangam’.
The two -day conclave from the Shanghai cooperation organization, or SCO, concluded yesterday. Mr. Jaisankar described the meeting as “productive” and said that “bilateral meetings with Uzbek colleagues, Tajik, Kyrgyz and Kazakh have advanced the process of the Indian-Central Asia Summit”.
Foreign ministers from various countries discussed preparations for the upcoming state council meeting on September 15-16 in Samarkand, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This SCO was founded at Puncak in Shanghai in 2001 by the President of Russia, China, the Republic of Kirgistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
India became an observer at SCO in 2005 and participated in the group ministerial meeting, which mainly focused on security and economic cooperation in the Eurasian region.
