Islamabad: In the midcession of large-scale battles between Afghan and Taliban troops, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the terror group will not talk to the Afghan government until the Ashafan Ghani remains president of the country.
Speaking with foreign journalists in Islamabad, Imran Khan said political settlement looks difficult in current conditions.
“I tried to persuade the Taliban … three to four months back when they came here,” Pakistan International International quoted Imran Khan.
“That condition during Ashraf Ghani is there, we (Taliban) will not talk to the Afghan government,” Khan added.
The Afghan government has criticized Islamabad because it raised instability in the region when Kabul believed that Pakistan helped the Taliban in increasing violence in Afghanistan.
Recently, the Afghans began a social media campaign against Pakistan, blaming them because of the worsening country situation.
Due to increasing violence in the country by the Taliban, the situation worsened as bad as a group of terror looted people and killed civilians after capturing many regions of the government.
The Taliban increased his attack on Afghan forces as soon as US forces began to attract large amounts of Afghanistan after a peace agreement was signed between Washington and the Taliban in February last year.
