People in Canada are stunned after the big hail that is destroyed and travelers who were stranded on Monday. According to CBC News, hail is caused after Tornado tore Alberta, a Western province in Canada. Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) informed that the storm lasted around 10 to 15 minutes and damaged around 34 vehicles. A number of people also suffered minor injuries, and three collisions were reported as a result of sudden baseball-sized hail.
Bringing to social media, some people share pictures of their car after the storm. The pictures show damaged windshields and dented vehicles. A user even shared a horrible video that shows the hail stone crashing into the windshield of their car when the people inside cover their heads with their hands. “Last night 5 km south of Gasoline Alley, terrible 17 minutes,” said Twitter’s post.
According to Newsweek, the size of the ice stone has caused concern. Julian Brimellow, Executive Director of the North University of West Hail Project, even suggested that they might have notes. He said that they received a report on “Hail of Ce. The size of a grapefruit and the size of a softball”. He also added that many stones measuring more than 10 centimeters.
