Actor Bollywood Ranveer Singh won the best actor in the main role award (male) for his cricket drama ’83’ on the 67th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai, while Kriti Sanon pocketed the best actor in the main role (female) for ‘Mimi’.
Ranveer Singh shared the stage with his wife Deepika Padukone when receiving a “black woman” on Tuesday night.
Before going to Filmfare, Ranveer Singh was given the best actor award for his appearance at ’83’ at the 2022 Indian film festival (IFFM).
Led by Kabir Khan, ’83’ spinning around the victory of the 1983 Indian cricket world cup. The film features Ranveer as Kapil Dev, the captain of the World Cup winning team.
Speaking of Kriti Sanon, he was honored to his appearance in ‘Mimi’, which was released in 2021.
In ‘Mimi’, Kriti Sanon played the role of a substitute mother. The film was directed by Laxman Utekar.
Earlier in May 2022, Kriti won the first best career actress award, and that was also at the 22nd Academy Academy Awards in Abu Dhabi.
