The creation paintings of the 212-km Delhi-Dehradun access-managed freeway, being constructed at a value of ₹ 12,000 crore, can be entire through the cease of December this year, Union minister Nitin Gadkari stated on Friday. The avenue delivery and highways minister in addition stated that 60-70 in keeping with cent creation paintings of the greenfield six-lane Delhi-Dehradun freeway has been completed.
“People can be visiting from Delhi to Dehradun in only hours and Delhi to Haridwar in ninety mins as the development paintings of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway can be entire through the cease of December this year,” Mr Gadkari stated even as addressing Fifth Ayodhya Parv. The avenue delivery and highways minister inspected the freeway recently.
The freeway has been divided into 4 sections and is being built beginning from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (DME) close to Akshardham in Delhi, Shastri Park, Khajuri Khas, EPE interchange at Khekra in Mandola, Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh to Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Many unique provisions were made withinside the creation of the whole hall and in these, the path from Ganeshpur to Dehradun has been stored secure for wildlife. There is a provision for a 12 km accelerated avenue, six animal underpasses, elephant underpasses, main bridges and thirteen minor bridges.
