Srinagar: The main terrorist Jaish-e-Mohammed, who was involved in the conspiracy and planning of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, was killed in a meeting with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Mohd Ismal Alvi, also known as Lamboo and Adnan, belongs to the Chief Jaish Masood Azhar family, the police said. Ismal, Pakistan, is between the two terrorists who were killed in the meeting. He was also named in Chargesheet by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Other terrorist identities are still checked.

The meeting broke on Saturday morning in the Dachigam Pulwama forest area. Security forces launched Cordon and search operations following input about the existence of terrorists there, a police officer said.

Search operations turned into a meeting after the terrorist opened the fire at the troop search party, who replied, the officer said.
In the exchange of shots, Ismal Alvi and other terrorists were killed.
“He (Mohd Ismal Alvi) is involved in the conspiracy and planning of the Pulwama Lethpora attack and thinks in the cost sheet produced by the National Investigation Agency (NIA),” said Inspector General of Police (IGP), said Vijay Kumar. He also congratulated the army and the police for the success of the Saturday operation.
Pulama terror attack was the worst attack on security forces in Kashmir in decades.
