Video: On Camera, Man Points Gun At Argentina Vice President, Arrested

A man was arrested in Argentina on Thursday because he directed weapons at Vice President Cristina Kirchner, said Security Minister Anibal Fernandez.
Some television channels broadcast footage of men who direct weapons to the head of the vice president from close range when he got out of the car that took him home in Buenos Aires.

Fernandez said that forensic police personnel will now analyze fingerprints to get more information.

Hundreds of activists have gathered since last week in front of Kirchner’s house, who was accused of cheating giving a public work contract at his fort in Patagonia.

The prosecutor has asked former president, who ruled from 2007 to 2015, facing 12 years in prison and a lifetime ban from politics.

Kirchner is the president of the senate and enjoyed parliamentary immunity.

Even if the convict is expected at the end of the year – he will not go to prison unless his sentence was ratified by the Supreme Court of the country, or he lost his senate seat in the next election at the end of 2023.
