Abu Dhabi last week requires its citizens to have a green pass on the Covid-19 country application to enter shopping malls, restaurants, cafes and other public places from June 15.
Abu Dhabi, the second densest emirate in the UAE, has updated the list of countries in the ‘green list’, which will allow more people to be released from compulsory quarantine, said local media reports. People arrive at Abu Dhabi from there the country will only have to undergo a RT-PCR test at the airport, the Emirate Administration, the report added.
Passengers who are fully vaccinated will need to undergo a RT-PCR test follow-up after six days, while those who are not fully vaccinated have been directed to hold another test on 12 days, media reports say quoting the Emirat Tourism Ministry.
List of gree abu dhabi now consists of 28 countries which are as follows: Australia, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Cuban, Germany, Greenland, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United States and Uzbekistan.
In particular, Britain and India are not part of the new list. This will replace the previous ‘green list’ issued by the Emirate on May 23.
