According to Creator Show, Elizabeth Ito, one of the new Netflix new series 2021 for children who fell over the summer will not return for season 2. The composer has begun to attack Netflix in a variety of ways, which we shall cover below. Netflix Cartoon’s children’s animation, released in March 2021, portrayed a little girl who was able to converse and learn from a ghost residing in and around Los Angeles. Elizabeth Ito established the concept, which usually operated at adventurous times and acted as a storywriter in big movies like Angry Birds Movie 2 and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. In the beginning, just 6 segments of this series are available.
Will City of Ghosts return for a second season on Netflix?
Officially, the program is still on the verge of being renewed or canceled.
Although it hasn’t been publicly canceled, the show’s creator has hinted that no further episodes have been ordered, and Netflix is unlikely to renew it.
Please excuse the pun, but we believe the show has been “ghost-canceled.” That is why the series is never formally renewed or canceled (i.e., no notification or confirmation to the press – Netflix denied to respond to our request).
This is unique for a Netflix Animation program. In recent years, Netflix’s strategy with kids’ entertainment has been to place a large advance purchase. Dreamworks movies, for example, had massive upfront orders, but more recently, series like Centaur World and Dogs in Space has received two-season advance orders, often spanning 20 episodes.
Continuing the Show, Elizabeth Ito’s Experiment with Netflix Anime
Elizabeth Ito has been vocal on Twitter about her dissatisfaction with Netflix’s management of the program, especially in recent months. It’s intriguing to look back on her tenure with Netflix Animation, from humble beginnings to being part of a huge new brave team and then suddenly being kept in the darkness.
A common issue we’ve heard from multiple creators (many of whom do not want to be identified) is a lack of interaction with Netflix, especially when a program does not do well. Ito shared similar feelings in a number of Tweets, writing:
